Setting up the Preferences
The preferences dialog box contains a variety of important controls used to configure
Proteus VX for your audio hardware and to customize the controls to suit the way you
work.
To Access the Preferences Dialog Box
1. Select Preferences from the Options dialog box. The following screen appears.
2. The preferences dialog box is divided into four main groups. Click on the tab
heading to select one of the four sets of controls.
Audio
Audio Hardware Setup & Pitch Shift Algorithm selection, number of
VST Output buses.
MIDI
Receive/Ignore Program Changes, Internal/External Tempo Source
select, Velocity Response Curve, Volume Curve, Volume Sensitivity
Controllers
This section allows you to set up the MIDI Continuous Controllers
you want the Proteus VX to receive.
